Workplace situation
A warning appears on the vehicle dashboard. The driver must understand the information, follow company safety procedures and report the issue. The exercise never replaces company safety procedures and gives no repair instructions.

- Interpret a simulated warning message.
- Find relevant instructions.
- Write a clear deviation report.
- Communicate important information.
Suggested activities
- Review a simulated dashboard warning (fictional example).
- Find the instruction in a sample safety procedure.
- Complete a fictional digital deviation report: time, place, observation and action. Do not submit it to a live system.
- Discuss which details are important to communicate, and what is observation versus assumption.
